سعد بن عبداللّه، عن علي بن محمد الرازي، قال: حدّثني نصر بن الصباح قال: أنفذ رجل من أهل بلخ خمسة دنانير الى حاجز، وكتب رقعة، وغيّر فيها اسمه، فخرج اليه الوصول باسمه ونسبه والدعاء له.
Saʿd b. ʿAbd Allāh, from ʿAlī b. Muḥammad al-Rāzī, saying that Naṣr b. al-Ṣabāḥ narrated to him, saying: “A man from the people of Balkh sent five dinars to Ḥājiz,[1] writing a note in which he altered his own name. The receipt came out to him with his name, his lineage and a supplication for him.”
[1] Al-Ḥājiz b. Yazīd al-Washshāʾ (حاجز بن يزيد الوشّاء), one of the financial agents associated with the network of the Imams (al-wukalāʾ/الوكلاء) who remained active, later, during the Minor Occultation (ghaybat al-ṣughrā/غيبة الصغرى).
