Reward of reciting Surah Lahab
Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl|Volume 1|Book 2|Chapter 262
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ شَجَرَهَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِذَا قَرَأْتُمْ تَبَّتْ یَدا أَبِی لَهَبٍ وَ تَبَ فَادْعُوا عَلَی أَبِی لَهَبٍ فَإِنَّهُ کَانَ مِنَ الْمُکَذِّبِینَ الَّذِینَ یُکَذِّبُونَ بِالنَّبِیِّ ص وَ بِمَا جَاءَ بِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ.
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Ali b. Shajarah from some of the companions Abi Abdillah عليه السلام who said: “Whenever you recite Surah Lahab, curse Abu Lahab without fail because he was such a liar that he had denied the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and whatever was revealed upon him.”
