Punishment of reciting Surahs while attending Congregation Prayer
1 hadith حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ حَرِیزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَهَ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ کَانَ أَمِیرُ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ قَرَأَ خَلْفَ إِمَامٍ یَأْتَمُّ بِهِ فَمَاتَ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَی غَیْرِ الْفِطْرَهِ.
1. Imam Muhammad Baqir عليه السلام narrates that Amirul Momineen عليه السلام said, “One who recites Surahs while attending Congregation Prayer behind an Imam, will not be considered a follower of Islam after his death.”
