Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding One Who Refuses to Take His Wealth After Reaching Maturity

1 hadith
Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa narrated from Sa'd ibn Isma'il from his father, who said: I asked Imam Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha عليه السلام about the guardian of orphans whose wards have reached maturity. He offers them their rightful wealth, but they refuse to take it. What should he do? Imam عليه السلام said: "He must return their wealth to them and compel them to take it."
