Dress Causing Public Abhorrence

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from abu ’Isma‘il al-Sarraj from ibn Muskan from a man who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said, ‘It is enough humiliation for a man to wear a dress that causes public abhorrence or use such a stumper.’”

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said, ‘Something that causes public abhorrence is in the fire, regardless of being good or bad.’”

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from abu al-Jarud from abu Sa‘id who has said the following: “Al-Husayn عليه السلام, has said, ‘If one wears a dress that causes public abhorrence, Allah on the Day of Judgment will make him to wear a dress of fire.’”
