Allah has told people Who He Is

128. From him, from Haroun Bin Muslim, from Mas’ada, who has narrated the following: Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام, from his عليه الصلاة والسلام father عليه الصلاة والسلام having said to a man who spoke to him by a lengthy speech, so he عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘O you man who belittles the speech, and considers knowledge to be insignificant, know that Allah عز وجل did not Send His عز وجل Rasool عليه السلام along with gold and silver, but He عز وجل Sent him صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم by the speech. But rather, Allah عز وجل Majestic and Mighty Made Himself عز وجل Recognised to the creatures by the speech, and the evidence (pointing) towards Him عز وجل, and the Signs’.
