About the words of Allah ‘...at the brink of fire’ (3:103)
1 hadithعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى وَ كُنْتُمْ عَلى شَفا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْها بِمُحَمَّدٍ هَكَذَا وَ اللَّهِ نَزَلَ بِهَا جَبْرَئِيلُ (عليه السلام) عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ (صلى الله عليه وآله).
208. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from his father, who has narrated the following: Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام regarding the Statement of the High عز وجل: “[3:103] and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, then He saved you from it, through Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم.’’ By Allah عز وجل, this is how Jibraeel عليه السلام came down with it upon Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم’.
