Permission to cut veins

230. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr, from Yunus Bin Yaqoub who said: I said to Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام, ‘The man drinks the medicine, and cuts the vein, and perhaps it benefits him and perhaps it kills him’. He عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘He can cut and he can drink’.
