About the words of Allah ‘the opposition must remain fearful’ (24:63)
1 hadithسَهْلٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ أَنْ تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذابٌ أَلِيمٌ قَالَ فِتْنَةٌ فِي دِينِهِ أَوْ جِرَاحَةٌ لَا يَأْجُرُهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا.
281. Sahl, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Hameed, from yunus, from Abdul A’ala who said: I asked Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام about the Statement of Allah عز وجل: “[24:63] therefore let those beware who go against his order lest a trial afflict them or there befall them a painful chastisement”. Imam عليه الصلاة والسلام said: (it’s) ‘فِتْنَةٌ’ Strife in His عز وجل Religion or oppression for which Allah عز وجل does not Reward’.
