1 hadith
308. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al-Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Muqatil Bin Suleyman who said: I asked Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام, ‘What was the length of Adam عليه السلام when he عليه السلام descended to the earth, and what was the length of Hawwa عليه السلام?’ He عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘We عليه الصلاة والسلام found in the Book of Ali عليه الصلاة والسلام Bin Abu Talib عليه الصلاة والسلام that when Allah عز وجل Made Adam عليه السلام and his عليه السلام wife Hawwa عليه السلام to the earth, his عليه السلام legs were in its twin part of Al-Safa (Al-Marwa), and his عليه السلام head was under the horizon of the sky, and he عليه السلام complained to Allah عز وجل from the difficulty caused by the heat of the sun. So Allah عز وجل Mighty and Majestic Revealed unto Jibraeel عليه السلام that Adam عليه السلام had complained from the difficulty caused from the heat of the Sun. So he compressed him عليه السلام with a compression and his عليه السلام length became of seventy cubits, and he compressed Hawwa عليه السلام with a compression, so her عليه السلام length became of thirty five cubits’.
