About the words of Allah ‘We gave him his wife…’ (21:84)

354. Yahya Bin Umraan, from Haroun Bin Kharjat, from Abu Baseer, who has narrated the following: Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام regarding the Statement of Allah عز وجل Mighty and Majestic: “[21:84] and We gave him his household (that he had lost) and the like thereof along with them”. I said, ‘His (Prophet Ayub عليه السلام) children, how was he عليه السلام given the like of them, with them?’ He عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘He عز وجل Revived for him عليه السلام from his عليه السلام children who had died before that of natural causes, and the like (number) of those who had died on that day’.
