Inherited paradoning....

480. Al-Husayn Bin Muhammad Al-Ashary, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Asbaat, from Muhammad Bin Al-Husayn Bin Yazeed who said: I heard Al-Ridha عليه الصلاة والسلام at Khurasaan and he عليه الصلاة والسلام was saying: ‘We عليه الصلاة والسلام, the People عليه الصلاة والسلام of the Household inherited the forgiveness from the Progeny of Yaqoub عليه السلام, and we عليه الصلاة والسلام inherited the appreciation from the Progeny of Dawood عليه السلام’. And I (the narrator) think that there was another statement which was forgotten by Muhammad (the narrator), so I said to him, Perhaps it is that he عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘And we عليه الصلاة والسلام inherited the patience from the Progeny of Ayub عليه السلام’. He said, ‘It is befitting’. Ali Bin Asbaat said, ‘But rather, I said that because I had heard Yaqoub Bin Yaqteen narrate from some of his men, ‘When Abu Ja’far Al-Mansour went to Al-Medina in the year in which Muhammad and Ibrahim the sons of Abdullah Bin Al-Hassan were killed, he turned towards his uncle Isa Bin Ali. He said to him, ‘O Abu Al-Abbas! The commander of the faithful (the Caliph) has decided that the trees of Al-Medina be cut down, and its fountains blocked, and it be turned upside down’. He said, ‘O commander of the faithful (Caliph), this here is the son عليه الصلاة والسلام of your uncle Ja’far Bin Muhammad عليه الصلاة والسلام, send for him and ask him عليه الصلاة والسلام of his opinion’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So he sent a message which Isa informed him عليه الصلاة والسلام of, and then returned back to him. So he said to him, ‘O commander of the faithful (Caliph), Dawood عليه السلام was Granted appreciation, and Ayyub عليه السلام was in affliction so he عليه السلام was patient, and that Yusuf عليه السلام forgave after being in power. So forgive, for you are from the lineage of those ones عليه السلام’.
