[1] There is an al-Ḥasan b. Ṭarīf in the chain of transmission of Ḥadīth al-Lawḥ (the Tradition of the Tablet), in chapter 4 of the Addendum, who may be the same person as this al-Ḥasan b. Ẓarīf on account of a possible typographical error caused by the obvious similarity in appearance between « ط » and « ظ ». We have, however, kept the text as it is presented in the published edition by the Imam al-Mahdī عليه السلام Academy.
