Haste and delay as folly
Nahj al-Balāgha|Volume 1|Book 3|Chapter 363
٣٦٣. وَقَالَ (عليه السلام): مِنَ الْخُرْقِ الْمُعَاجَلَةُ قَبْلَ الْإِمْكَانِ، وَالْأَنَاةُ بَعْدَ الْفُرْصَةِ.
363. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said: To make haste before the proper time or to delay after a proper opportunity, in either case is folly.
