The Chapter on Prayer and Its Limits
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 29
قَالَ اَلرِّضَا عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «اَلصَّلاَةُ لَهَا أَرْبَعَةُ آلاَفِ بَابٍ.
Imam Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha عليه السلام said: Prayer has four thousand gates (aspects or elements)”.

وَقَالَ اَلصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «اَلصَّلاَةُ لَهَا أَرْبَعَةُ آلاَفِ حَدٍّ.
Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: "Prayer has four thousand limits (boundaries or rules)”.
