2 hadiths
It is narrated from Safwan al-Jammal, who said: I said to Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, "I am traveling for Hajj with my family, and I secure my expenses by tying them around my waist." Imam عليه السلام said: "Yes, for my father عليه السلام used to say: 'Part of the strength of a traveller is safeguarding their expenses.'"

Ali ibn Asbat narrated from his uncle Ya‘qub ibn Salim, who said: I said to Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, "I have coins with images on them while I am in a state of Ihram. I place them in my belt and tie it around my waist. Is this permissible?" Imam عليه السلام said: "There is no problem with that. Are they not your expenses upon which you rely after Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Mighty and Glorious?"
