Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 2|Book 3|Chapter 19
Ali ibn Asbat narrated from his uncle Ya‘qub ibn Salim, who said: I said to Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, "I have coins with images on them while I am in a state of Ihram. I place them in my belt and tie it around my waist. Is this permissible?" Imam عليه السلام said: "There is no problem with that. Are they not your expenses upon which you rely after Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Mighty and Glorious?"
