About the words of Allah ‘Has the story of the overwhelming come to you…’ (88:1)

13. Sahl, from Muhammad, from his father has narrated: Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام having said when it was said to him عليه الصلاة والسلام “[88:1] Has not there come to you the news of the overwhelming calamity?”, he عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘They will be overwhelmed by the sword of the Rising One (Al-Qaim عليه الصلاة والسلام)’. He said, ‘I said, (What about) “[88:2] Some faces, that Day, will be humiliated”?’ He عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘They will be so humiliated that they will not be able to bear the exclusion’. He said, ‘I asked. ‘(What about) “[88:3] Labouring”?’ He عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘Labouring for other than what Allah عز وجل Revealed’. I then asked, (What about) “[88:3] Appointing”?’ He عليه الصلاة والسلام replied: ‘Having appointed other than the Master عليه الصلاة والسلام of the Command (Wali Al-Amr)’. He says then I asked, (What about) “[88:4] Entering into burning fire”?’ He عليه الصلاة والسلام replied: ‘Entering into the fire of the war in the world during the era of the Rising One (Al-Qaim عليه الصلاة والسلام), and in the Hereafter the Fire of Hell’.
