Muhammad Bin Saeed, from Al-Qasim Bin Urwat, from Ubeyd Bin Zurara, from his father, who has narrated the following: Abu Ja’far عليه الصلاة والسلام having said; ‘The one who sits in a gathering in which an Imam عليه الصلاة والسلام from the Imams عليه الصلاة والسلام is insulted, and he has the ability to remedy that and he does not do so, Allah عز وجل Mighty and Majestic would Clothe him in disgrace in the world and Punish him in the Hereafter, and would Confiscate the benefit which he has from our عليه الصلاة والسلام understanding (Ma’rifat)’.
