Al-Kāfi|Volume 8|Book 1|Chapter 324
324. Abaan, from Zurara who said: I heard Abu Ja’far عليه الصلاة والسلام saying; ‘When Marwan was born, they presented him to the Rasool Allah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم to supplicate for him. So they went with him to Ayesha so that (Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم would) supplicate for him. So when she went near him, he صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said, ‘Take him away from me, the lizard son of the lizard’. Zurara (the narrator) said, ‘And I don’t know (more but) except that he صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said it, and cursed him (Marwan)’.
