All relation except what al-Quran has approved is heresy
335. From him, from his father, said: Abu Ja’far عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘Do not take anyone other than Allah عز وجل as a confidant or else you will not remain a ‘Momin’ (Believer), for every reason, and lineage, and relationships, and confidants, and innovations, and doubts will be cut off. These will disappear like the dust which is upon a solid rock which disappears when abundant rain falls on it, except for what has been established by the Quran’.
