The question of Sadir from Abu Ja’far AS

340. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from hanaan Bin Sudeyr, and Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Hanaan Bin Sudeyr, from his father who said: I asked Abu Ja’far عليه الصلاة والسلام about the two (Abu Bakr and Umar), so he عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘O Abu Al-Fazl, don’t ask me about these two, for by Allah عز وجل, no one from among us عليه الصلاة والسلام passes away at all except being angry against these two, and there is none from us عليه الصلاة والسلام today except that he عليه الصلاة والسلام is angry at them. The old ones bequeath it to the young ones from us عليه الصلاة والسلام. These two have been unjust to us عليه الصلاة والسلام for our عليه الصلاة والسلام rights, and prevented us عليه الصلاة والسلام from our عليه الصلاة والسلام Fey (Spoils of War – Khums), and first one rode upon our عليه الصلاة والسلام necks, and caused damage to us عليه الصلاة والسلام with a damage in Al-Islam which can never be repaired ever until our عليه الصلاة والسلام Qaim عليه الصلاة والسلام makes a stand and speaks our عليه الصلاة والسلام speech’. Then he عليه الصلاة والسلام said; ‘But, by Allah عز وجل, when our عليه الصلاة والسلام Qaim عليه الصلاة والسلام makes a stand, or speaks our عليه الصلاة والسلام speech, he عليه الصلاة والسلام will expose the matters of these two of what they had concealed, and conceal from their matters what they used to make apparent. By Allah عز وجل, nothing has afflicted us عليه الصلاة والسلام from the afflictions, and what has passed of the difficulties against us عليه الصلاة والسلام, the People عليه الصلاة والسلام of the Household, except that these two laid the foundations of it at first place, so against these two are the Curses of Allah عز وجل, and the Angels, and the people altogether’.
