Hadith of one who was brought back to life by Jesus AS

532. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al-Hassan Bin Mahbub, from Abu Jameela, from Aban ibn Taglib, who has reported the following: Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام was asked: ‘Did Isa Ibn Maryam عليه السلام revive anyone after his death to the extent that he ate, received sustenance, and had a term, and children?’ He replied: ‘Yes. He had a friend who he had established brotherhood with for the Sake of Allah عز وجل Blessed and High, and Isa عليه السلام used to pass by him and visit him. And that Isa عليه السلام remained absent from him for a while, then passed by his house to greet him. His mother came out to him. So he asked her about him. She said, ‘He died, O Messenger عليه السلام of Allah عز وجل’. He عليه السلام said: ‘Would you love to see him’. She said, ‘Yes’. He عليه السلام said to her: ‘Come to me tomorrow and I shall revive him for you by the Permission of Allah عز وجل Blessed and High’. So when it was the next day, she came over. He عليه السلام said to her: ‘Come with me to his grave’. So they went until they arrived at his grave. Isa عليه السلام paused at it, and then supplicated to Allah عز وجل. The grave split apart and her son came out alive. So when his mother saw him, and he saw her, they wept. Isa عليه السلام sympathized with them. Isa عليه السلام said to him: ‘Would you like to remain alive with your mother in the world?’ He said, ‘O Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم of Allah عز وجل, with eating and sustenance and a term, or without eating and sustenance and a term?’ So Isa عليه السلام said to him: ‘With eating and sustenance and a term. And you will be living for twenty years and get married and have children’. He said, ‘Yes’. When he said that, Isa عليه السلام handed him over to his mother. He thus lived for twenty years, and got married, and had children’.
