Disrespect of a believing person

73. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al-Husayn, from Muhammad Bin Ismail Bin Yazi’e, from Saleh Bin Uqba, from Abu Haroun, who has said: Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام having said to a number (of people) who were in his عليه الصلاة والسلام presence and I was present: ‘What is the matter with you all that you take us عليه الصلاة والسلام lightly?’ A man from Khurasan stood up and said, ‘Allah عز وجل Forbid that we should take you عليه الصلاة والسلام or any of your عليه الصلاة والسلام commands lightly’. He عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘Yes, you are one of those who take me عليه الصلاة والسلام lightly’. He said, ‘Allah عز وجل Forbid that I should take you عليه الصلاة والسلام lightly’. He عليه الصلاة والسلام said to him: ‘Woe be unto you, or did you not hear so and so, and we were near Al-Juhfa, and he was saying to you, ‘Give me a ride for about a mile, for By Allah عز وجل, I have become (very) tired’? By Allah عز وجل, you did not even raise your head and took him lightly by it, and the one who takes one who Believes in us عليه الصلاة والسلام lightly, has taken lightly and wasted the Sanctity of Allah عز وجل Mighty and Majestic’.
