About the words of Allah ‘...Those who change the boutnies of Allah’ (14:28)

77. And by this chain, from Abaan Bin Usmaan, from Al-Haris Al-Nasry who said: ‘I asked Abu Ja’far عليه الصلاة والسلام about the Statement of Allah عز وجل: “[14:28] Have you not seen those who have changed Allah’s favour for ungratefulness”, (Imam عليه الصلاة والسلام) asked: ‘What are you all saying about that?’ I said, ‘We are saying that these are the tyrants from the Qureish, the Clan of Umayya and the Clan of Al-Mugheira’. He عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘By Allah عز وجل, this is about the Qureish in its entirety. Allah عز وجل Blessed and High Addressed His عز وجل Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, so He عز وجل Said: “I عز وجل Gave preference to the Qureish over the Arabs, and Completed upon them My عز وجل Favours, and Sent to the My عز وجل Rasool صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, so they changed My عز وجل Favour by denial “[14:28] and made their people to alight into the abode of perdition”.
