About the words of Allah ‘Leave them alone; you are not blamed’ (51:54)

78. And by this chain, from Abaan, from Abu Baseer, who has said: Abu Ja’far عليه الصلاة والسلام and Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام, that the two of them عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘When the people belied the Rasool صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم Allah عز وجل, Allah عز وجل Blessed and High Decided to Destroy the people of the earth except for Ali عليه الصلاة والسلام and no one else by His عز وجل Statement: “[51:54] Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame”. Then Changed it for them so He عز وجل was Merciful to the Believers. Then He عز وجل Said to His عز وجل Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم: “[51:55] And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers”.
