قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى يَسْئَلُونَكَ ما ذا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّباتُ وَ ما عَلَّمْتُمْ مِنَ الْجَوارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ اللَّهُ فَكُلُوا مِمَّا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَ اذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ

Allah , the Blessed and Exalted, said: "They ask you what has been made lawful for them. Say: Lawful to you are all good things, and what you have taught of hunting animals, trained as hounds, teaching them of what Allah has taught you. So eat of what they catch for you, and mention the name of Allah upon it." (Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:4).
