So this narration includes Zurarah mentioning his excuse, being occupied with trade and other matters, at which point the Imam عليه السلام, permitted him to limit himself to less than fifty (rak‘ahs). And what confirms what we have mentioned is that the prescribed (recommended) number is fifty-one rak‘ahs, as long as there is no excuse.
