16. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Jumhur from Safwan from ibn Muskan from al-Halabi from abu ‘Abdallah about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious. “If they (the unbelievers) propose peace, accept it and trust in God. God is All-hearing and All-knowing.” (8:61). The narrator has said, “I asked the Imam عليه السلام, ‘What is the meaning of peace?” The Imam عليه السلام said, “It is the acknowledgment of our Leadership with Divine Authority.”
