The Birth of abu ‘Abdullah Ja‘far ibn Muhammad عليه السلام

7ـ سَعْد�� بْنُ عَبْدِ الله وَعَبْدُ الله بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ جَمِيعاً عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ قُبِضَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ (عَلَيْهما السَّلام) وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً فِي عَامِ ثَمَانٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ وَمِائَةٍ وَعَاشَ بَعْدَ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَرْبَعاً وَثَلاثِينَ سَنَةً.
7. Sa‘d ibn ‘Abdallah and ‘Abdallah ibn Ja‘far all have narrated from Ibrahim ibn Mahziyar from his brother Ali Mahziyar from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Muhammad ibn Sinan from ibn Muskan from abu Basir who has said the following. “Abu ‘Abdallah, Ja‘far ibn Muhammad عليه السلام passed away at the age of fifty bsix in the year one hundred forty eight AH. He lived after abu Ja‘far عليه السلام, his father for forty three years.”
