Twelve imams determined by Allah

(33) Muhammad bin Uthman narrated from Ahmad from Obaydillah bin Umar from Sulayman al-A’mash from ibn Oun from ash-Shi’bi that Jabir bin Samra had said: “It was mentioned that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم had said: “The people of the religion will still defeat their enemies until twelve imams (come).” People began to stand up and sit down. He (the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) said something that I could not understand. I asked my father or someone else what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم had said. He replied that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم had said: “All of them are from Quraysh.”
