One should know that the Salaat of Eid can be offered in congregation only. One can offer Eid Salaat without congregation also for the following traditions support it:

مَا حَدَّثَنِی بِهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَیْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أُذَیْنَهَ عَنْ زُرَارَهَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: مَنْ لَمْ یُصَلِّ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ فِی جَمَاعَهٍ یَوْمَ الْعِیدِ فَلَا صَلَاهَ لَهُ وَ لَا قَضَاءَ عَلَیْهِ.
1. Imam Muhammad Baqir عليه السلام says, “For one who does not offer Salaat-e-Eid in congregation there is no Salaat or its Qaza obligatory for him.”
