1. Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to me, saying: Sa’d ibn Abdullah narrated to me from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Faddal, from Abi Dawud al-Mustariq, from Tha’laba ibn Maymun, from Yunus ibn Ya’qub, from Abu Abdillah al-Sadiq عليه السلام, who said: "The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم turned to his companions and said: 'Take up shields.' They asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, is it from an enemy who has surrounded us?' He replied, 'No, but from the fire (of Hell). Say: Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illa Allah (There is no god but Allah), and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest).'"
