Reward of freeing a Muslim slave

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ رِبْعِیٍّ عَنْ سَمَاعَهَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ أَعْتَقَ مُسْلِماً أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِکُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ عُضْواً مِنَ النَّارِ.
1. Imam Muhammad Baqir عليه السلام narrates that the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said, “One who frees a Muslim slave for the sake of Allah for each part of the body of that slave, the Almighty Allah will keep a part of his body safe from the fire of Hell.”
