Punishment of injustice and oppression
Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl|Volume 1|Book 3|Chapter 118
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِیِّ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ أَمِیرُ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع أَعْظَمُ الْخَطَایَا اقْتِطَاعُ مَالِ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ بِغَیْرِ حَقٍّ.
10. Imam Ja’far Sadiq عليه السلام narrates that Amirul Momineen عليه السلام said, “One of the greatest sins is to usurp the wealth of a believer unlawfully.”
