Punishment of breaking a single fast of the month of Ramadan

Hadith #1

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی عِمْرَانَ الْهَمْدَانِیِّ عَنْ یُونُسَ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ الرَّازِیِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ أَفْطَرَ یَوْماً مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ خَرَجَ رُوحُ الْإِیمَانِ مِنْهُ.

1. It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq said, “The soul of faith will leave the body of one who breaks a single fast in the month of Ramadan.”
