The Reward for the Ziyārah of Abil Ĥasan ‘Ali ibn Mūsā Al-Riďā عليه السلام in Ťūs

11. Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb, ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain, and others narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Ibrāhīm, from his father, from ‘Ali ibn Mahziyār, who said: I asked Abā Ja’far (Imam Jawād عليه السلام), “May I sacrifice myself for you! Is (going to) the Ziyārah of Imam Riďā عليه السلام better or (going to) the Ziyārah of Abī ‘Abdillāh, Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali عليه السلام?” Imam عليه السلام replied, “(Going to) the Ziyārah of my father عليه السلام is better. The reason is that everyone goes to the Ziyārah of Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Ḥusain عليه السلام) but only the chosen ones from among the Shia go to the Ziyārah of my father عليه السلام.”
