The Prophet’s Love for Imams Ĥasan and Ĥusain عليه السلام, His Command to Love Them, and the Reward for Loving Them

4. My father narrated to me from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari, from one of our companions – whose name he forgot, from ‘Ubaydillāh ibn Mūsā, from Muhalhal Al-‘Abdi, from Abī Hārūn Al-‘Abdi, from Rabī’ah Al-Sa’di, from Abī Dhar Al-Ghifāri, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم kiss Ḥasan and Ḥusain عليه السلام and say: The fire will not touch the face of those who are sincere in their love for Ḥasan and Ḥusain عليه السلام and their progeny, even if their sins are equal to the number of (grains of) sand, unless they have committed a sin that expels them from the faith.
