5. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Aḥmad, from ‘Umar ibn Sahl, from ‘Ali ibn Mus-hir Al-Qurashi, who said: My grandmother told me that she was alive at the time of the killing of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali عليه السلام. She said, “The heavens turned red like blood after the killing of Ḥusain عليه السلام for one year and nine months, and we could not (even) see the sun.”
