Ĥusain عليه السلام: “The Martyr of Tears” No Believer Mentions Him Without Crying

1. My father, ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain, and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan all narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Sa’īd ibn Janāḥ (Al-Azdi), from Abī Yaḥyā Al-Ḥadhā, from some of our companions, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq عليه السلام) said: The Commander of the Believers عليه السلام looked at Ḥusain عليه السلام and said, “O ‘ABRAH (tear) of every believer!” Ḥusain عليه السلام asked, “O father! Are you referring to me?” The Commander of the Believers عليه السلام replied, “Yes! O my son!”
