The Reward for the Ziyārah of Ĥusain عليه السلام Is Equal to the Reward for Performing a Hajj and an ‘Umrah

7. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, and from Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdil Ḥamīd, from Yūnus ibn Ya’qūb, from Um Sa’īd Al-Aḥmasiyyah, who said: I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq عليه السلام), “What do you say is the reward for the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain عليه السلام?” Imam عليه السلام replied, “O Um Sa’īd! We say that it is equal to the reward of a Hajj and an ‘Umrah, and there is this much reward in it.” Um Sa’īd added that the Imam عليه السلام stretched open his arms with his fingers bent.
