Permission Not to Perform the Ghusl Before the Ziyārah of Ĥusain عليه السلام

5. Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Ya’qūb narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Ḥasan ibn Faďďāl, from ‘Abbās ibn ‘Āmir, from Abī Nāb Ḥasan ibn ‘Aťiyyāh, who said: I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq عليه السلام) about performing Ghusl when going to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of Ḥusain عليه السلام. Imam عليه السلام replied, “Performing Ghusl is not obligatory.”
