1. My father and a group narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from someone, who said: Abul Ḥasan (Imam Riďā عليه السلام) sent me some clothes that were wrapped up, in the middle of which there was some clay. I asked the person who had brought the clothes about this clay. He said, “It is the clay of the grave of Ḥusain عليه السلام. He (Imam Riďā عليه السلام) does not send clothes or anything else to anyone without putting some of this clay within it and he says, ‘It is protection with the permission of Allāh.”
