Neglecting the Ziyārah of the Grave of Ĥusain عليه السلام

Ḥasan ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā narrated to me from Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb, from Ḥanān ibn Sadīr, who said: I was with Abī Ja’far (Imam Bāqir عليه السلام) when a man entered, said Salām to the Imam عليه السلام, and sat down. “Where are you from?” Imam عليه السلام asked the man. “I am from Kūfah. I believe in your Wilāyah and I am one of your lovers,” the man said. “…Do you go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain عليه السلام once a week?” Imam عليه السلام asked. “No,” the man replied. “What about once a month?” Imam عليه السلام asked. “No,” the man replied. “What about once a year?” Imam عليه السلام asked. “No,” the man replied. “Verily you are deprived of the good (blessings),” Imam عليه السلام said.
