Evidence of the Imamate of Imam Musa Kadhim عليه السلام and refutation of Waqifiya

H 57 - Sulaiman bin Dawood has narrated from Ali bin Abil Hamza from Abu Basir that he said: I heard Imam Muhammad Baqir عليه السلام say: In the master of this affair [Imamate] are present four similarities from the practices of the prophets. A similarity with Musa bin Imran عليه السلام, a similarity with Isa bin Maryam عليه السلام, a similarity with Prophet Yusuf عليه السلام and also a similarity with Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم. The similarity with Musa عليه السلام is fear and anticipation; similarity with Yusuf is prison, similarity with Isa عليه السلام is that it would be said with regard to him that he is dead; whereas he is alive and present; and finally a similarity with the Prophet of Islam صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, which is that he would stage an armed uprising.
