Salah (prayer) when Asking for Increase in One’s Sustenance

Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from ‘Abd Allah from Ibrahim ibn Ishaq from ‘Abd Allah ibn Ahmad from al-Hassan ibn ‘Urwah son of the sister of Shu’ayb al-‘Aqarqufiy from his maternal uncle, Shu’ayb who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, said to me, ‘If one feels hungry he should take Wudu’ and perform two Rak‘at Salah (prayer), then say, “O my Lord, I am hungry. Please feed me.” He will be fed within the same hour.’”
