Chapter on Sacrificial Offerings
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 2|Book 3|Chapter 136
وَ قَالَ اَلصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «لاَ يُضَحَّى إِلاَّ بِمَا يُشْتَرَى فِي اَلْعَشْرِ ».
Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: "A sacrificial animal should only be purchased during the ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah)."
