Chapter on Sacrificial Offerings

Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 2|Book 3|Chapter 136
Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib عليه السلام said: "If a man purchases a sacrificial camel that is emaciated, it does not suffice for him. But if he purchases it while it is fat and then finds it to be emaciated, it suffices for him. The same applies to the hady of a Mutamatti' (performing Hajj Tamattu')."
