Chapter on Virtues of Hajj
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 2|Book 3|Chapter 2
وَ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ حَدَّا اَلْمَسْجِدَ اَلْحَرَامَ مَا بَيْنَ اَلصَّفَا وَ اَلْمَرْوَةِ فَكَانَ اَلنَّاسُ يَحُجُّونَ مِنْ مَسْجِدِ اَلصَّفَا ».
"And indeed, Ibrahim and Isma'il عليه السلام marked the boundaries of the Sacred Mosque, from Safa to Marwah. The people would perform Hajj starting from the Mosque of Safa."
