Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 2|Book 3|Chapter 2
Abu Hammam Isma'il ibn Hammam narrated from Imam Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha عليه السلام: Imam عليه السلام said to a man: "What do you understand 'Sakina' to mean?" The people did not know what it was and replied: "May we be your ransom, what is it?" Imam عليه السلام said: "'Sakina' is a breeze that comes from Paradise, fragrant, and has a form like that of a human. It accompanies the Prophets عليه السلام. It is the same 'Sakina' that was sent down upon Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام when he was building the Kaaba. It guided him by pointing out this and that, and he built the foundation upon it."
